So, I watched this video on APT where it was advised to sleep with a pillow under the knees on order to tilt the pelvis posterior wise and position it properly. And because of staying in this position for many hours every day, eventually the muscles would get used to it and it would help with correcting the APT.
I’ve been doing this on and off and I’ve noticed that the pain has almost vanished so I’m guessing there’s truth in that theory, bit correct me if I’m wrong.
Anyway my question is can we apply the same theory for lateral pelvic tilt somehow?
I thought to put something inside one of my shoes in order to elevate the “shorter” leg (I know it’s actually not shorter) and just go about my day with one foot elevated to the height of the other.
Would that work to make the muscles get used to the pelvis being even height at both sides?
Or would that somehow make the tilt worse?
I’m not asking for medical advice, just exploring ideas.
Thanks.
