Hi Everyone,
Just a basic question regarding the difference (if any) between inflammation and blood flow.
I know that for say, tendon injuries, you’re supposed to ice it to reduce inflammation which is painful and perhaps harmful but you’re also supposed to use heat to bring blood flow into the affected are to heal it.
Am I fundamentally misunderstanding what inflammation is? Isn’t blood flow or circulation or whatever, inflammation?
Thanks in advance for clearing this up for me!
