10 Exercises to Relieve Morning Stiffness

Do you wake up feeling stiff in the morning?

Give these exercises a go to see how they can make your morning a bit easier.

  1. Knee rocks - try 40 reps per side

  2. Heel slides and hip drop outs with foot up - try 2 sets of 10 per leg

  3. Gentle hamstring stretch - try 2 sets of 20 reps per leg

  4. Knee to chest stretch - try 2 sets of 10 per leg

  5. Banded cat and camel - try 3 sets of 10 per leg

  6. Fire hydrants - try 2 sets of 10 per leg

  7. Bow and arrow - try 2 sets of 10 reps per side

  8. Shoulder circles - try 10 forwards and 10 backwards

  9. Mckenzie push ups - try 3 sets of 10 reps

  10. Sit to stands - try 10 reps
